I’m glad to have you interested in this Eynon website. I have gathered and
compiled information from family and the web to bring this information to you
in one location.
To introduce myself, I am Marilyn Oviatt Cowley, the Granddaughter of Betsey
Eynon Smith who was the daughter of John Eynon and Eliza Lewis Eynon. They
immigrated to America in 1864 and 1863 respectively. I live in Scottsdale,
Arizona.
I love my Welsh heritage and am interested in all things Welsh especially those
things pertaining to Theophilus Eynon and his descendants, where they lived,
and how they lived.
You will find on these pages life stories of people in the family, the genealogy
of those people, a compilation of the history of the Eynon name, and
information about Wales most particularly about the areas where they lived.
Hopefully, with your sharing your information about your relatives this website
will continue to grow with additional information.
Wales is a most beautiful country. I have had the opportunity to visit only once
but I was extremely impressed with the green rolling hillsides, the prolific
hydrangeas in many colors, the magnificent castles, and the friendly people.
